The Saudi General Authority of Zakat and Tax Nov. 20 announced the Nov. 30 deadline for businesses subject to VAT with annual supplies of goods and services exceeding 40 million Saudi riyals (US$10.7 million) to file monthly VAT returns for October 2025. The announcement includes that: 1) taxpayers are encouraged to file through the Tax Agency’s website, or file and pay through the ZATCA smartphone application; and 2) the fine for late filing is 5 percent to 25 percent of the VAT required to be declared.
