Singapore’s Tax Revenue Collection Outlook Uncertain: Minister

Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Finance Chee Hong Tat said that it was “unclear” whether tax revenue collection could continue to rise this financial year amid an uncertain global economic outlook, according to his written response to a parliamentary question on Tuesday.

  • The higher tax revenue collection in 2022 was due to Singapore’s economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic
