The Sint Maarten Government Dec. 19 announced that the Council of Ministers approved a proposed increase in the minimum hourly wage, effective April 1, 2024, to 10.40 Netherlands Antillean guilders (US$5.80), from 9.95 guilders (US$5.55). The increased hourly minimum wage represents a monthly minimum wage of 1,801 guilders (US$1,009.72). [Sint Maarten, Government Portal, 12/19/23]
