Slovakia Government Submits Bill to Set 2021 Minimum Wage

The Slovak Government Aug. 27 submitted Bill No. 201, to the parliament (Narodna Rada), to set the 2021 minimum wage, beginning Oct. 1. The bill includes measures to: 1) increase the monthly minimum wage to 623 euros (US$742) from 580 euros (US$691); and 2) set the hourly minimum wage at 3.58 euros (US$4.26). The measures would enter into force Jan. 1, 2021. [Slovakia, Parliament, 08/27/20]
