- Companies wouldn’t have to pay monthly advance corporate tax payments until May 31, according to legislation approved by parliament Thursday.
- Businesses that continue to operate would be exempt from paying pension insurance on behalf of their employees in April and May.
- Pension insurance is an 8.85% tax employers pay on an employee’s gross compensation. Employees pay a 15.5% tax on that income.
- The measure now heads to the president to be signed into law.
