Slovenia Lowers Excise Duty on Fuel to Offset Jump in Oil Prices

Slovenian government to lower excise duties on fuel to mitigate the jump in oil prices due to war in the Middle East, energy ministry says in a press release.

  • One liter of 95 octane unleaded fuel to cost a maximum of €1.466 for the next two weeks compared to €1.576 without the intervention
  • Price of diesel fuel will be capped at €1.528 per liter instead of about €1.702
