Small companies in Ireland want the administration of value-added-taxes to be digitized, but the changes should be rolled out slowly and carefully.
The Irish tax office published findings Thursday from the 1,100 responses it received to its three-month consultation that started in October about how to implement a new system for real-time VAT invoicing and reporting. Over 70% of the responses came from businesses with less that 700,000 euros ($749,622) in annual revenue.
