South African President Names Makhubu as Revenue Agency Head (1)

South Africa’s president appointed Ngobani Johnstone Makhubu as head of the nation’s revenue collection agency.

Makhubu will take over as commissioner of the South African Revenue Service on May 1 for a five-year term, the presidency said in a statement on Thursday. He replaces Edward Kieswetter, who’s retiring after seven years at the helm.
