South Dakota DOR Announces South Shore Sales Tax Rate Increase

The South Dakota Department of Revenue (DOR) has announced that South Shore is changing its general sales and use tax rate. Effective July, the municipality will increase its general sales and use tax rate from 1 percent to 2 percent, with the Department providing updated Municipal Tax Information Bulletins to help businesses and residents understand these changes.
