South Korea Assembly Considers Bill to Partially Amend Income Tax Act

The South Korean National Assembly March 28 accepted for consideration Bill No. 2209468, to partially amend the Income Tax Act. The bill includes a measure to use the lease date when calculating the holding period, period of residence, and tax rate of the long-term holding deduction for construction rental units exempt from capital gains tax.
