South Korea Assembly Considers Bill to Partially Amend Special Tax Measures Act

The South Korean National Assembly April 23 accepted for consideration Bill No. 2210051, to partially amend the Special Tax Measures Act. The bill includes a measure to comprehensively exempt from VAT medicines for patients with rare and incurable diseases. The law would enter into force three months after the date of promulgation.
