South Korea Gazettes Presidential Decree Partially Amending Enforcement of VAT Act

The South Korean Official Gazette Nov. 28 published Presidential Decree No. 35881, partially amending the enforcement decree of the VAT Act. The presidential decree includes a measure to extend to Dec. 31, 2027, from Dec. 31, 2025, the sunset date for the 75 percent maximum deduction on purchase tax amounts for tax-exempt agricultural products and related items.
