The South Korean Official Gazette Aug. 29 published Presidential Decree Nos. 35721 and 35722, providing a two-month extension, to Oct. 31, from Aug. 31, of temporary rate reductions in various tax rates on fuels. The decrees include measures extending the temporary flexible rate reductions of: 1) the individual consumption tax on butane; and 2) transportation, energy, and environmental taxes on gasoline, diesel, and similar alternative fuels.
