The Spanish Official Gazette Feb. 7 published Royal Decree No. 145/2024, setting interprofessional minimum wages for 2024. The decree includes measures: 1) setting the daily minimum wage at 37.80 euros (US$40.53) and the monthly minimum wage at 1,134 euros (US$1,215.92), for workers in agriculture, industry, and services, regardless of age or gender; 2) setting the minimum hourly wage at 8.87 euros (US$9.51) for domestic workers; and 3) setting the daily minimum wage at 53.71 euros (US$57.59) for temporary workers who work fewer than 120 days at the same company.
