Spain MOF Seeks Comments on Individual Income Tax Estimation Method, Simplified VAT Regime

The Spanish Ministry of Finance and Public Administration Nov. 13 opened a consultation on the tax year 2025 individual income tax estimation method and simplified VAT regime. Topics covered include: 1) calculating net income from economic activities under the objective estimation method in 2025; 2) developing the special simplified VAT regime; 3) activities included in the objective estimation method and simplified VAT regime; and 4) the Dec. 31 deadline for taxpayers to revoke the simplified special regime.
