A Spanish official said Thursday the country will keep its digital tax, despite threats from the US.
Spain is “strongly committed” to its digital tax, and will continue to be until a global agreement is found, said Jorge Ferreras Gutierrez, Spain’s deputy director general for tax policy in the ministry of finance.
Ferreras Gutierrez was speaking at the CFE Tax Symposium in Ghent, Belgium.
