Spain Should Use Resilience to Build Fiscal Buffers, OECD Says

Spain should make the most of its robust economy by ramping up structural reforms and medium-term fiscal sustainability, according to the OECD.

“Given the strong growth momentum, accelerating the pace of deficit reduction would allow Spain to faster rebuild fiscal buffers to respond effectively to future shocks or downturns,” the institution said on Wednesday in its Economic Survey for 2025.
