The Sri Lankan Inland Revenue April 10 announced various income tax filing and payment deadlines for the 2024-2025 assessment year. The notice includes: 1) the April 15 deadline to pay March 2025 advance individual income tax (APIT), advance income tax (AIT), and withholding tax (WHT); 2) the April 30 deadline to submit mandatory e-filings of annual WHT, AIT, and APIT statements; 3) that penalties and interest will be imposed for failures to file or pay, late payments, and incorrect statements or returns; and 4) information on the e-filing and payment procedures.
