Standards Bodies Unify Greenhouse Gas Emissions Accounting Rules

The International Organization for Standardization and Greenhouse Gas Protocol are harmonizing existing emissions standards and will co-develop a new set of rules for accounting and reporting the pollution.

  • ISO’s 1406X family of standards and GHG Protocol’s Corporate Accounting and Reporting, Scope 2 and Scope 3 Standards are among the rules that will be harmonized and co-branded, the groups said in a statement
