Sweden MOF Announces Proposal to Reduce Rate of Special Income Tax for Individuals Living Abroad

The Swedish Ministry of Finance Sept. 10 announced a proposal to reduce to 22.5 percent from 25 percent, the special income tax for individuals living abroad (SINK) rate in 2026, with a further reduction to 20 percent in 2027. [Sweden, Government Portal, 09/10/25]
