The Swedish Tax Agency Feb. 1 announced deadlines for the payment of back taxes. The announcement includes: 1) the Sept. 12 deadline for individuals to pay back taxes; 2) the July 12 deadline for individuals to pay back taxes if the return is digitally approved without any changes or additions before April 4; and 3) the 5 percent interest rate on back taxes that exceeds 30,000 Swedish kroner (US$2,858), effective Feb 13.
