Talks With Russia on Tax Treaty to Continue, Netherlands Says

The Netherlands will continue negotiating with Russia for a new double taxation treaty under a plan announced Tuesday by the Dutch Finance Ministry.

The course of the negotiations will depend on such factors as “mutual cooperation” or the concurrence with other negotiations, the ministry said in a press release. Russia terminated the bilateral tax treaty last year to force its companies to report more of their earnings at home.
