An export regime for IT in Pakistan and measures in Armenia creating free economic zones and benefiting IT projects were added to a list of potentially harmful tax practices, as part of a process led by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The Forum on Harmful Tax Practices reviews countries’ preferential tax regimes to determine if they “unfairly impact” other jurisdictions. Wednesday, the OECD published results from the forum’s latest meeting, in April.
