The Thai Official Gazette Nov. 12 published a royal decree amending the taxation of investment income earned by individuals and companies. The decree includes measures: 1) establishing a withholding rate of 15 percent on income from investments in debt securities and mutual funds; and 2) exempting income from specified mutual funds and certain other investment vehicles.
