Thailand May Ease Tax Rules on Individuals’ Overseas Income

Thailand’s government considers easing tax rules on individuals’ overseas income to encourage the remittance of those funds back into the country, according to Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira.

  • The finance ministry is reviewing existing taxes on such income after a change in the global economic situation, Pichai tells reporters Thursday
