Thailand Offers 30% Cash Rebate to Woo Foreign Film Production

Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra introduces a 30% cash rebate for international film crews as the Southeast Asian targets 10 billion baht in spending by foreign movie makers next year.

  • The campaign will not set a maximum cash rebate ceiling, PM said following a meeting with Motion Picture Association CEO Charles H. Rivkin and Hollywood production house executives in the US, government spokesman Jirayu Houngsub says in a statement
