Thailand to Ease Entry Barriers for Liquor, Beer Producers (1)

Thailand’s cabinet has approved a draft ministerial regulation on liquor production and licensing to make it easy for new entrants, according to spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri.

  • The amendment is aimed at revising permission and production guidelines for liquor producers and increase tax collection efficiency, Anucha tells reporters at a press briefing in Bangkok
  • The ministerial regulation of 2017 will be annulled and a new regulatory guideline will be issued “for the whole system,” Anucha says
