Turkey Adjusts Taxes on Cigarettes, Some Tobacco Products

Turkey raises lump sum tax on cigarettes and certain tobacco products to 10.5 liras, up from 7.8 liras set in September, according to a presidential decree published in Official Gazette.

  • Special consumption tax on cigarettes and some tobacco products reduced to 50% from 53.5%
