The Turkish Official Gazette March 1 published Decision No. 5249, reducing the VAT rate to 8 percent from 18 percent on electricity supplied for residential and agricultural irrigation purposes. The decision takes effect the same date. [Turkey, Official Gazette, 03/01/22]
