Turkey Gazettes Decree Increasing Withholding Tax Rate on Dividend Distributions

The Turkish Official Gazette Dec. 22 published Presidential Decree No. 9286, increasing the withholding tax rate to 15 percent from 10 percent for amounts deemed to be distributed dividends from full-taxpayer institutions to various tax-exempt taxpayers.
