Turkey Imposes Tax on Purchases Below EU30 From Abroad (1)

Turkey introduces 60% tax on goods bought by individuals that are shipped from abroad, according to decree published in official gazette.

• Tax rate to be 30% for goods from EU countries
• Same rates to apply for drugs with a value of less than EU1,500
