Turkey Tax Agency Updates Special Consumption Tax Rates for Various Fuel Products

The Turkish Revenue Administration June 1 updated the annex to Decision No. 10995, on the special consumption tax (SCT) rates for various fuel products. The updated table includes SCT rates of: 1) 6.3170 Turkish lira (US$0.14) per liter of 95 octane unleaded gasoline; 2) 7.0330 lira (US$0.15) per liter of 98 octane unleaded gasoline; 3) 4.5156 lira (US$0.098) per liter of diesel; and 4) 6.8130 lira (US$0.15) per kilogram of propane, butane, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
