Turkey Tax Agency Updates Special Consumption Tax Rates for Various Fuel Products

The Turkish Revenue Administration May 13 updated the annex to Decision No. 10995, on the special consumption tax (SCT) rates for various fuel products. The updated table includes SCT rates of: 1) 0.8367 Turkish lira (US$0.018) per liter of 95 octane unleaded gasoline; 2) 1.5528 lira (US$0.034) per liter of 98 octane unleaded gasoline; and 3) 0 lira per liter or kilogram of diesel, propane, butane, and liquified petroleum gas.
