Turkey’s 7.5% digital service tax, which will affect companies like Amazon.com, Inc. and Netflix, Inc., came into effect Sunday.
The tax applies to companies that make 750 million euros ($831 million) of revenue globally and 20 million Turkish lira ($3.2 million) of revenue from certain digital business models in Turkey.
