The U.K. could agree to adopt public country-by-country tax reporting, but is unwilling to be the only country to do so, a senior official said.
“We broadly support country-by-country reporting but obviously we don’t think its appropriate to do it on our own,” Mike Williams, Director of Business and International Tax at HM Treasury said during a panel Thursday at the American Bar Association European conference.
