U.K. Extends Tax Cut on Protective Medical Gear by 3 Months

U.K. extends temporary scrapping of value added tax on personal protective equipment until end of October, Treasury says in emailed statement on Friday.

• Treasury: 3-month extension of tax cut worth GBP155m to care homes and businesses
• NOTE: PPE VAT was zero-rated at start of May, and import duty removed
