Revenue from the UK’s digital services tax is expected to rise annually and bring in £1.4 billion ($1.8 billion) in the 2030/31 financial year, the government’s fiscal watchdog said, as the Treasury reaffirmed it intends the tax to be temporary.
A Wednesday report from the Office for Budget Responsibility also predicted a £100 million increase in annual DST revenue from this year onward compared with that previously forecast in March.
