The UK’s share of environmental tax collection fell to its lowest level in over two decades in 2024, according to the latest official figures released Tuesday.
Environmental tax revenue stood at £54.3 billion ($72 billion) in 2024, 0.5% less than the previous year, data from the Office for National Statistics showed.
