The UK government says it will raise the Agricultural and Business Property Reliefs threshold to £2.5m from £1m, when it is introduced in April 2026, according to a
- Allows the passing of £5m in qualifying agricultural or business assets before paying inheritance tax
- Says move comes after it “listened to concerns of the farming community and businesses about the reforms”
