UK Treasury Official to Co-Chair Global Deal Negotiators at OECD

An official at His Majesty’s Treasury will co-chair the OECD’s Inclusive Framework, a group of over 140 countries’ delegates involved in global tax deal negotiations, the organization announced Wednesday.

Tim Power, deputy director for business and international tax at HM Treasury, was elected by the OECD’s Committee of Fiscal Affairs to chair the group. In his capacity as chair of the CFA, he will co-chair the Inclusive Framework with Marlene Nembhard Parker. Nembhard Parker serves as deputy commissioner general of the Jamaican Tax Administration’s legal support services.
