UK Wants More Time for Plan to Boost Wealthy Taxpayer Compliance

The UK won’t publish its plan for improving tax compliance among wealthy individuals until later this year, according to the tax office’s top official.

His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs plans to share a draft with stakeholders, including wealth management firms, academic groups, and think tanks over the coming months, Chief Executive John-Paul Marks said in a letter to the UK’s Public Accounts Committee. The letter was dated May 15 and published Monday.
