Ukraine Gives Imported Medical Products Tax Break to Fight Virus

Ukraine will exempt imported medical products from the country’s value-added tax in a bid to help combat the new coronavirus.

  • The exemption takes effect Wednesday and will apply to medicine and medical devices and equipment needed to prevent the spread of Covid-19, according to a law published the same day.
  • The measure is effective for three months.
