The Ukrainian Ministry of Finance Jan. 22 posted online the provisions of the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI), as applicable to the 1996 DTA with Slovakia. The MLI entered into force Dec. 1, 2019, and applies from: 1) Jan. 1, 2020, for withholding taxes; and 2) taxable periods beginning on or after June 1, 2020, for all other taxes.
