The Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) Aug. 17 accepted for consideration Bill No. 3963-1, to amend the 2020 budget law to increase the minimum wage beginning Sept. 1. The bill includes a measure to increase the monthly minimum wage to 7,500 Ukrainian hryvnias (US$274) from 4,723 hryvnias (US$172). [Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada, 08/17/20]
