Ukraine President Signs Law Amending VAT Exemptions for Optical, Anti-Drone Devices Imported Due to War

The Ukrainian President Aug. 18 signed Law No. 3287-IX, amending VAT exemptions with respect to optical and anti-drone devices imported during martial law due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. The law includes measures: 1) expanding the Uniform Customs Tariff of Ukraine (UCT) codes for exempt imports of specific optical devices, including thermal imaging binoculars, monoculars, and night vision devices; 2) exempting specified rangefinders; and 3) exempting specified anti-drone guns.
