UK Digital Services Tax Mainly Hits US Companies, Data Shows (1)

The majority of companies that are liable for digital services tax in the UK are from the US, according to latest official data provided by the tax office to a think tank.

Out of 51 business groups within the scope of the DST, 32 are from the US, while 19 are from other countries, information shared by His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs via a Freedom of Information Act request to TaxWatch showed.
