Reeves Says More UK Tax Rises Unlikely After £66 Billion Already

Rachel Reeves said the UK government has done enough on tax and shouldn’t need to come back for more hikes, remarks that risk making her a hostage to fortune.

In an interview with Bloomberg’s Francine Lacqua in Davos, Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer said the decision to more than double the margin for error against her binding fiscal rules to £21.7 billion ($29.2 billion) in November’s budget “has given greater confidence to people that we can have stability on a fiscal front.”
