UK’s Starmer Refuses to Rule Out a Tax Increase for the Wealthy

Britain’s opposition leader Keir Starmer refused to guarantee there won’t be tax increases for the wealthy should the Labour party win power in a general election expected next year.

“I want it [the tax burden] to come down for working people,” Starmer said in an interview on Sky News when asked whether the tax burden would rise under Labour.
