The United Kingdom HM Revenue and Customs Oct. 12 announced the deadlines for taxpayers filing self-assessment returns for the 2020-21 tax year. The deadlines are: 1) Oct. 31, 2021, for taxpayers submitting paper forms; and 2) Jan. 31, 2022, for taxpayers completing online returns. The announcement also includes reporting obligations for taxpayers who received payments under support regimes due to the coronavirus pandemic. [United Kingdom, Government Portal, 10/12/21]
