The United Kingdom HM Revenue and Customs Jan. 2 updated the currency exchange rates for VAT Mini One Stop Shop (VAT MOSS), effective Dec. 1, 2019. The December 2019 currency exchange rates are used by VAT MOSS businesses registered in the U.K. to complete declarations and make payments to HMRC in pounds sterling. The rates are based on the exchange rate published by the European Central Bank on the last reporting day of the VAT MOSS quarter. [United Kingdom, Government Portal, 01/02/20]
